Dear Members,

We are moving ahead and planning for the Seventh Annual Summer Arts Project. Once again I believe this project will prove to be the most talked about project and the artworks created will be coveted for years to come.

As the Summer Arts Project Committee brainstormed around the table, many suggestions were thrown on the table, passed under the table, and some were even tabled. At the end we decided on... (I bet you can see it coming) a TABLE! Anything from an end table or coffee table, to a small occasional table.

These art tables will debut May 23rd in the Central Park Honesdale, with WCAA's benefit auction to take place August 28.  This is our major fund-raising event and adds color, whimsy and excitement to the community.  Please consider joining us this year as  one of our artists.

Thank you for supporting the arts in Wayne County.

Exhibit Opportunity

Dear WCAA Members,

Our “Community Art” exhibition program is in full swing. Our first exhibit with artist Michael O’Neill is already showing at the Wayne Bank in Honesdale.

Starting in April,  a new venue will be available at the Chamber of Commerce in Hawley.  We are now actively pursuing other sites.

Applications, contracts and other details will be available soon to answer all your questions and concerns.  If you are interested in participating in the rotation gallery, please let us know. You will be contacted when applications are available and schedules are being set.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Agnes Keough
